Thomas
Haruichi Yomen Jr. passed away on Feb. 28, 2022,
at the age of 65, in ‘Ele‘ele. Formerly of
Po‘ipu, he was born on Jan. 18, 1957, in
Honolulu. He was a journeyman electrician.
He
was preceded in death by father Thomas H. Yomen
Sr., mother Diane S. Yomen and cousin Bryan
Miyake.
He
is survived by wife Melinda Balmores Yomen,
daughters Cherisse S. (Tyrus Delos Reyes) Yomen
of Kaua‘i, Kelcie E. Yomen of Kaua‘i, Asia
K. (RJ Masada) Yomen of Kaua‘i and Paris A.
Yomen of Kaua‘i, one grandchild, brothers Jon
Yomen of Honolulu and Roy Yomen of Honolulu, and
numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and
cousins.
A
service is at Garden Island Mortuary Saturday,
April 2, with walk-thru visitation beginning at
9 a.m. and services at 10 a.m. The family
suggests aloha attire and requests that flowers
be omitted. Due to COVID-19, face masks and
social distancing are required. There will be a
paddle out at PK’s at noon.
Garden
Island Mortuary is assisting the family with
arrangements.
